If your Stoke X isn’t turning on, follow these steps to safely check the board before contacting support.
Step 1: Check if the Board is Charging
Plug the charger into the board and observe the charger LED and fan:
Green light — the charger is powered but not actively charging.
Red light and fan turns on — the board is actively charging.
Green light after charging — the board has completed charging.
If the charger remains green immediately after connecting the board, try:
Disconnecting and reconnecting the charger.
Trying a different power outlet if available.
Confirming the charger connection is secure.
If the board still does not appear to charge or power on, continue to the next step.
Step 2: Check for Basic Power Activity
Try powering the board on normally.
While attempting to power the board on:
Check whether you feel any resistance in the wheels from the motors.
Check whether any external LEDs or indicators briefly appear.
These observations can help support identify the next troubleshooting step.
Do not open the board, remove covers, or attempt internal electrical inspection.
