If your Stoke Series 1 isnât charging, follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check the Charger and Charge Port
Before assuming the board has an issue, inspect the charger and charge port:
- Check for physical damage â Look for any cuts, burns, or broken connections on the charger cable and plug. If damaged, stop using it immediately.
- Inspect the charge port â If thereâs debris inside or the charger wonât fully insert, do not force it. Contact tech support for assistance.
Step 2: Check the Charger Lights
Your chargerâs LED will indicate its status:
- Solid Green â The charger is powered but not actively charging.
- Solid Red & fan turns on â The board is actively charging.
- Flashing Red or cycling Red-Green â This may indicate a charger fault. If the issue persists with multiple boards, the charger likely needs replacing.
Step 3: Isolate the Issue (Board vs Charger)
If possible, test your charger with another compatible board or try a different working charger on your board:
- If your charger doesnât charge any board, the charger is faulty and will need replacement.
- If another charger works on your board but yours doesnât, the issue is with your charger.
